Perspective Programms

The program is expected to be the starting point of an International Youth Space Movement that will promote youth cooperation and revive interest in cosmonautics of the young people in Russia, France and other countries. Thus, it will lay basis for a new intellectual potential needed to give rise to pioneers of cosmonautics. In this context, it will be of primary importance to establish a public organization, International Foundation “Youth To Space” with the major goals as follows:
  • Development, coordination and financial support of international youth space programs
  • Raising governmental and sponsored funds in support of youth space programs and activities
  • Encouragement of particularly gifted young people in the world
  • Development of international guidelines pertaining remarkable accomplishments of youth in space.
Membership of the Foundation can include national public aerospace organizations, for example, federations and clubs involved in youth space programs (one agency from each country).
The forthcoming action of the Foundation "Youth To Space" is building, on a competitive basis, of international small communication satellite Aliance-98, the launch of which is scheduled at the end of 1998.
The project is open to schoolchildren, students, young specialists and scientists from any country.

  • Length - up to 1.5 m
  • Purpose - TV and radio ham communications
In connection with the foregoing, the Federation of Cosmonautics of Russia invites public space organizations of the world to this project with the hope of active backing of youth space programs and fruitful cooperation for the benefit of modern and future generations.
